Dear NUI President,

  Gioffre Consulting has always been a proponent and supporter of NUI. As such, we would like to make it easier for your group to have a web presence and to facilitate communications amongst your members. Please look over the following free offers and take advantage of the ones which can help your organization.
 

Free website for your group

  The free website will allow your group to post information pertinent to NUI and local group business. The website will have a space restriction of 1 MB, which is more than ample for the average group's website. For an example of what can be done please browse over to the Philadelphia Area Netware Users Group site at http://www.nui.net/panug.


Free E-Mail redirectors for you group

In order to maintain consistent E-Mail addresses for your group, Gioffre Consulting will provide up to 3 E-Mail redirectors. These are not E-Mail accounts but E-Mail addresses that get directed to your own private E-Mail accounts. For example panugsupport@nui.net or dnugpresident@nui.net or wnugmembership@nui.net. Each redirector can be set up to deliver messages to one or more of your personal E-Mail accounts. These redirection addresses can easily be modified whenever your board members change or your individual ISP changes.

Free ListServe Account

One free ListServe account will be provided for each group. The ListServe allows for conversation among group members or may be used as a simple method of mass mailing from the board to the entire group. The ListServe can be set up to accept messages from any group member or only from specific personnel. The membership list is unlimited and is maintained through a graphical interface available on the Gioffre Consulting website. Each ListServe will be set up to include a banner advertisement for Gioffre Consulting (similar to what is seen on the NUI Presidents List Server). The ListServe is maintained solely by the group. The ListServe may NOT contain any advertisements for other companies or firms without the prior express written consent of Gioffre Consulting.

To take advantage of any of these offers simply send an E-mail message to nuioffers@gioffre.com. Include the offers which you would like to take advantage of and we will E-Mail you a list of information we need to set up the services. Please allow one week for setup and configuration of any service. Once configured, all subsequent maintenance and configuration is handled by your group.

Terms & Restrictions

• Your free website may NOT contain any advertisements for other companies or entities without the prior express written consent of Gioffre Consulting.

• The website must contain a small banner and link for Gioffre Consulting (as shown in the left hand margin of this page) which will be provided by us.

• The website will be set up with one exclusive FTP account for the group's webmaster.  It is solely the individual group's responsibility to design, post, and update the site.  This offer does NOT include any webmaster, web design, or web consulting services of any kind.  Instructions for uploading files to the site will be provided and technical support will be available via E-Mail for any communications or website technical issues.  The website will be assigned a www address similar to the PANUG link (i.e. http://www.nui.net/panug).

• ListServe accounts are maintanined by the List Manager who will receive a user name and password.  All account maintenance can be performed either via E-Mail command messages or through a web management interface.

• Gioffre Consulting may modify or withdraw this offer at any time without prior notice.

• Gioffre Consuling reserves the right to post announcements to your free ListServe accounts.  Any such announcements shall be limited to no more than one per month.

• Content of your free site must be limited to information generally pertaining to networking, data processing, or information systems.  Although the focus should be on Novell solutions, content may cover the full spectrum of computing technologies.

• Your group must be an officially recognized chapter of Novell Users International.
