PANUG is a non-profit all-volunteer organization dedicated to helping the typical Novell system administrator. With corporate budgets constantly shrinking and technical support costs always rising, it can be difficult for system administrators to get the answers they desperately need. PANUG can help by keeping you in touch with the market, the technology, and most importantly your networking peers. The most valuable benefit we can offer you is meeting your peers; others who have been through those same problems you are having; others who could use your insight; others who volunteer their time to help. Come to a meeting and you'll see how good it feels when you know that you're not alone. By joining our group, you will be able to attend our monthly meetings, receive our newsletter, receive NUI's monthly magazine, and be eligible for many other discounts, special offers, and promotions.

Our meetings focus on today's technical issues. Recent meetings have covered such important topics as Backing Up Your NetWare Servers, Troubleshooting Your GroupWise E-Mail System, Upgrading to GroupWise 6.5, Disaster Recovery Planning, Remote Dial-In Solutions, and Comparing Windows 2000 Server to Novell NetWare. Most of the meetings are in the format of a technical presentation and discussion. We're here to share and learn from all involved. The presentation may be given by a group member who is very experienced in the topic or sometimes by a vendor (both Microsoft and Novell have presented topics for us). You will rarely find just a vendor demo at our meetings, as you could get that anywhere. When vendors present topics, they are made aware that we expect a technical presentation and NOT a sales pitch. MEETING SPECIFICS:
Check "Next Meeting Info" for full details on that month's meeting topic. Come down and sit in on any meeting. Visitors are always welcome so bring a friend too. If you like what you see, you can then decide to join our group. |
